This module will explore the design, creation, customisation, sharing and delivery of digital multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Digital multiple-choice questions have the flexibility of being suitable for use in face-to-face, blended and remote learning environments and can be designed for specific learning purposes.

Module Learning Objectives

This module will encourage teachers to engage in self-reflection around the following questions:

  • How can I use MCQs to support and improve pupil learning?

  • What does a ‘good’ MCQ look like?

  • Why should I create digital MCQs?

  • How can I develop my existing capacity and resources to further my practice moving forward?

  • How will I monitor and evaluate the impact of my practice on pupils?

This module is organised into five sessions. Each session will take between 1 – 2 hours to work through. Although, you may wish to take some additional time to engage with some of the associated activities and resources. Each module requires participants to watch a video; however each video is complemented by a range of additional resources to increase the users flexibility with regards how they interact with or use the materials.
